Unitentional Genocide

No really...I know it's a total oxymoron (I ain't no ox moron! - guess what movie anyone??), but that's what I have done. Well, WE have done. I have to add Dustin in here too. We did everything we were supposed too...treat the water, water changes, let the tank run for a while before getting fish, and have the water test. Oh yeah, they told us to add a few fish, wait a few weeks or so then add a few more. DUSTIN said it didn't matter, so we didn't wait to get more. But, I just spent the evening trying to salvage what fish we have with water cleaner, parasite treatment, and fungus treatment. Only to get to take back the fungus treatment because the fish I bought it for was up in a full float when I got home. And so far, I have buried (flushed) two fish today, and there are two more that I am pretty sure will be in the Big Tank in the sky by tomorrow. Which fish are left? The first ones we got...Meaning if we would have waited and not stocked the whole tank so soon - we would not have murdered any fish.

Once again on a positive note...I found ANOTHER new baby fish today. Keeping our fingers crossed they can make it through the devastation we call our "fish tank".

Ok - now I need to edit pictures so that I can get the post up from our playdate...

RIP - Minnie, and Mr.Unknown Swordfish...Hang in there little yellow buddies! (If you click on the pic to enlarge, they are the two in the lower left.)
