Now that the rain is gone for a few days, we had to get out and enjoy the warmth and the sunshine that had come back to rescue us! When our afternoon walk didn't work out because of some dogs on the loose (we had Chynna with us) we wanted to find another way to spend some time outside, and went down to the lake with some bread in tow. We found a group of ducks close to the path, which was great because I wasn't too fond of letting the stroller roll down the side of a hill just to get close to the lake...
There were ducks scattered all over the lake but once we got the bread out, they all swarmed us like they hadn't eaten in days. Seriously, I bet it started with about 10-15, and the longer we were there, the more that came up! I bet there ended up to be around 30 or so. I couldn't believe how close they were getting! We fed them for a bit, when from across the lake we heard this huge goose call and noticed he was right on track for us. This guy was fearless! Once he was on land he shoved the rest of the ducks out of the way and made a beeline for us. Kyndall decided that she was good with the ducks, but not so much the goose, and stuck her little lip out and started to cry. Then as I turned to console her, the little turd tried to bite me on the leg!
We think it was just how loud and obnoxious he was more than anything. So, we headed home...only to be followed...
See the big ol' goose in the middle!
Luckily the gave up before we reached the car...

ohhh, ducks rock! :)
