Bad Habits and other Casualties

I am so far from perfect...but isn't everyone? I have recently been called out on a few of my bad habits. So, I decide to let everyone what the most commonly used ones are, that way they know what to expect of me from time to time. That way there is no getting their hopes since they have been forewarned...

1. I am bad at returning phone calls, and even worse at checking voicemail. But, I'm usually Johnny-on-the-Spot at emails and text. Why is that you ask? Well, I hate talking on the phone. I hate not being able to hear clearly on a cell, and I really hate hearing background noise on the other end. I have to have it totally silent when I'm on the phone...which hardly ever happens around here anymore.

2. I procrastinate. Bad. Which is probably why another one of my really bad habits is being late. I'm always late. Everywhere. Anyone who knows me well enough knows this, and those that know me the best, lie to me about the time to be somewhere. And if you don't know me that well, take this as your warning. Give me a fake "headstart" time when planning anything with me.

I know there is a 3-87 to go, however, I have stuff from WalMart out in the car from Tuesday that I need to to get, as well as Christmas stuff that needs to be put up, I need to clear out my vm box that's been full for 2 weeks now, and I need to run to the pet store, for we have had our first casualty of the tank...

On to that...

Our *some type of* sword tail was found yesterday at the bottom for his last nap, I assume. Luckily Kyndall was asleep so she did not see the sadness that comes with losing a fish of 3 days. He had no signs of being sick, so I'm wondering if Kyndall getting to excited and touching the tank some how lead to scaring him to death? However, in further inspecting the fish in the tank I saw that one may have a possible case of Ich(Ick), while another has some strange white stuff over its eye (and Dustin wanted a salt water tank, yeah right!) BUT...on a positive note (for now at least) we have found two tiny babies in the tank! We are pretty sure that they somehow came in the same water as the fish we just got, but its still pretty neat to see them that little and tiny. I bet they aren't but the length of my pinky nail. Who knew fish could be cute?!

PS - Stay tuned...per the request of Grandma, who is upset that there hasn't been a blog in a few days I will be doing two today...This being the first. Up next, will be all about Kyndall's first playdate at Monkey N Around! :)

  1. It has been forever since I had fish but you can get those drops to put in the water to get all the bad stuff out before you put the fish in it... that is the only thing I remember about fish and ich, and that goldfish are the healthiest...
