Friday Fill-In # 4 and a Funny story to go

1. The first rule of working in an office and getting along is wear deodorant.

2. Live clams.

3. When I think of carnivals I think of cotton candy and machine guns.

4. Bluebonnets are my favorite spring flower.

5. Things on my desk include a coffee cup, a baby bottle, and my camera.

6. The headache I have makes me wanna go lie down.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to laying low because I have a massive headache, tomorrow my plans include watching the live NASCAR and Supercross race, and Sunday, I want to beat out the rain for my scheduled Senior Session with Jacob!

And now onto the Funny Story part of today's post...

So, I'm killing myself over the thought that I don't have a picture or a video to go along with this because it was such a priceless moment in Kyndalls young babyhood. She's been a hot mess lately, and its been a struggle to get her to sleep, now that she can stand and sit up from laying down. She gets up and plays with whatever she can reach thats in her crib. This morning, I was determined to get her down, because I have a migraine and needed some rest. So I put her down. Then put her down again. Then Dustin put her down. Finally I said screw it, and left her alone (at the suggestion of a very wise woman - thanks Mandie!). I hear quiet so I'm thinking she's finally asleep. I peek through the door, and she's sitting up, first thought is oh crap, but at least she's quiet. Then I realize...its because she's asleep!!! She was sleeping sitting up, blankie in her hand and all. She was even doing the head bob. (You know the one we are all famous of doing, sitting in that meeting fighting off sleep, when your eyes droop, your head sinks down, then you realize oh crap, I'm asleep! So you jerk it up really fast?! Yeah. That one.) I ran to tell Dustin and of course was laughing so hard I was crying, he told me how mean I was and to lay her down and let her sleep right. And I did...right after going in there to watch and laugh again.

What can I say. That kid's go talent that goes beyond her years.
