That's right. I am officially a stay at home mom! We aren't quite sure how long it will last...could be 6 weeks, 6 months, or 6 years! But for now, I'm a housewife, and excited about it! Like Dustin said...maybe now the house will get cleaned! And the laundry, and the yard, and the closets, etc. Also, I think I'm going to try to find some time to learn my camera better, finish/start some scrapbooks, and complete the 3 crocheting projects that I have going on...Of course I will have plenty of time to do all this during her 30 minute cap naps...I know God has something in store for me and a way better situation then I was in before, with a job that made me so unhappy, and a commute that just added to it. So, I'm just going to be patient, and I know he will provide.
Kyndall is officially eating solids on a regular basis, and she LOVES them. Loves them so much that the daycare teacher gave her some that wasn't even hers because she said that she was staring at her feeding another kid, and just looked like she had to have some too. So far her favorites are squash, and applesauce, and the only things she isn't a big fan of (but still eats) is sweet peas. My kid likes food, go figure! This was out first try at solids (rice). She doesn't look too tortured does she?
I'm going through and trying to edit a lot of picutres right now, trying to "clean out" some that just aren't good, and have no potential. So, I may post some random ones going forward. But for now, I wanted to share some of our first meal in the highchair! She's such a sweet girl and took to it like a champ. And oh yeah, she's starting on a sippy cup too!!! Growing up way too fast. Soon I'll be locking her up in the baby pen. Wait...I mean trying to keep her from injuring herself by using the baby gates. Yeah, that's it. Its to keep her safe...and for no other reason... Welcome to being a SAHM!
