I swear I had a post started about the new year and how I was going to write more, blah, blah, blah...well, being that this is February 8 and my FIRST post of the year, I think that just went right on out the door! Unfortunately, this year hasn't started as I hope it would business wise...I'm still stressed, still overwhelmed, STILL haven't posted my new prices, which I'm terrified that will make me lose clients, but something I HAVE to do. With the kids they are changing so much every day...So...to start out the "New" Year...I'm going to start out the new "month" and just take it week by week and see how this goes! lol
Rhyder - Wow, he's big. And I know he's really not that big for his age, but he's the size now at 7 months, that Kyndall was at 1 year. So he seems huge to me. He's rolling over pretty good now...he can even get back over when he gets stuck on his tummy and starts to panic a little...Eating 3 meals a day with a bottle in between, and I even started him on some kind of "NumNum snack" thingys that of course he devours in no time at all. He's FINALLY sleeping through the night most nights, and that just started pretty much in the past week or two. As long as I fill up the tank RIGHT before he goes to sleep, he makes it through the night, waking up around 6:30 am. He's had his first couple of ear infections, and teething like a maniac although no teeth coming through just yet.
Kyndall - Doing GREAT in school!! Learning so much, so many fun songs! Right now her playlist includes: Jesus Loves Me, ABC's, You are my Sunshine, Twinkle Twinkle, Itsy Bitsy Spider, Ring Around the Rosies...(as she runs in circles), Pat-a-cake...and I know there are more that I'm not thinking of. She's speakin GREAT in sentences and I get such a kick out of having an actual conversation with her. She's also counting to about 15 in English and SPANISH! ;) She's so amazing.
As for me and Dustin....his racing is going...he's always working on his car so it better be going good!! He won rookie of the year last year, and this year we are REALLY looking forward to the fact that his car class has made an agreement with the track just a few miles from home in Highlands so there won't be the long drives to Edna as much! And I won't be all fat and prego so I will be able to make some of the races! We are both super excited to take Kyndall to her first race...she's either going to be terrified or she's going to love it...only time will tell!!! I'm hanging in there. A huge ball of stress and anxiety most days, but I really do loving having a "job" that I love and being home with my babies. I'm having to get my gallbladder taken out on the 18th, which I'm actually looking forward to so that I can stop feeling so miserable pretty much every time I eat.
And Penny...our almost 2 year old Corgi...she is still about the same size she was at one year and definitely acts the same as she did then as well...no where NEAR coming out of the "puppy" phase...She is totally like having another 2 year old...oy vey...
Ok...I think that's a recap of the past month for us....Stay tuned and see if I return soon??!
I had to have my gallbladder taken out, two months after my "baby" turn 1. But mine was an emergency, I had an attack on a monday afternoon and by 9am on tuesday I was in surgery. I know all about the pain and stress that you are going through. If you need any questions answered, I am here to help.
